About Choto Marina
Stephen Temple, General Manager of Choto Marina
Stephen started out at Choto in the summer of 2004 as a dock hand and “worked his way up” to driving the forklift by the following summer. After a few years of driving the fork lift, he hired a new driver and acted as the assistant manager in 2009.
In May of 2009, Stephen enlisted and went to basic training at Ft. Benning for Infantry and Airborne school in late July. He was stationed in Alaska from early 2010 until December 2013 with a deployment to Afghanistan from Dec. 2011 to October 2012. After his enlistment Stephen returned to Knoxville and rejoined the Choto family in January 2014 as the General Manager. Stephen and his wife Heidi have a 7year-old daughter, Kate.
Stephen’s favorite part about being at Choto is being able to interact with all of the guests and tenants while they are doing what they love to do: just showing up relaxed and ready to have a great time on the lake. Stephen is passionate about creating the most enjoyable, memorable experience possible on Lake Loudon.
Make sure to say hello to Stephen on your next visit to Choto Marina. We look forward to seeing you on the lake!
